A “Mice” little treat bag

bagfrontI made this simple little Halloween treat using some Oreos I found in the grocery store.  I don’t know how they will taste – but the Halloweenie colors are great!

I used the House Mouse Halloween clear set for all the stamps.  I’m really enjoying this set – there are so many stamps in it!

The bag is a flat bottomed treat bag – all I had to do is make a topper.

bagpartsThe cardstock is from the Halloween Happiness Prism cardstock collection

The topper is made from a piece of black 4 1/4″ wide by 5″ high – scored across the middle to make two 4 1/4″ by 2 1/2″ sides.

Two pieces of Intense Orange – 4″ by 2 1/4″.

Two pieces of Neenah Solar White, 3 3/4″ by 2″.  Stamped as shown.  I used Memento Ink in Tuxedo and Tangelo.  The image is colored with Copic markers.  I also inked the edges of the white pieces  with Peeled Paint Distress ink and a duster brush.

bagclosedI just rolled up the bag and stapled the top.  I Assembled the topper and adhered it to the bag top.

bagbackHere is the back….  I just inked part of the sentiment in black and part in orange before I stamped.

A very easy project.  Hmmm…. I wonder how orange Oreos taste with coffee….

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  I’m hoping to get out in the garden.  I have a ton of perennials that need dividing.
