Birthday Challenge #3

Hi all,

Another Friday, another Birthday party game!  So come play out 3rd Birthday challenge for a chance to win fabulous prizes.

For this challenge, all you need to do is create a card using “spring” or “Easter” colors. You were planning to do that anyway – so why not join the party?  Just link your card to this post before midnight (EST) on Monday March 29.

What can you win? How about 2 friendly stamps:  Roxy and Brenice unmounted stamp from Kraftin Kimmie and a the Newly Hatched clear stamp from Stampavie.



For my sample, I decided to make an Easter Shaker card. 


I used the super cute Easter Bunny clear stamp setfrom Impression Obsession for my images.  They are all colored with Copic Markers.

To make my shaker, I cute a window in the purple cardstock with a Labels 4 Spellbinders die.  Then I adhered a piece of clear plastic paper over the window and surrounded the window with foam tape to build the sides (make sure there are no gaps that the beads can escape from).  I placed a pile of beads on the middle of my image and then adhered the frame so the image was centered.  Then I juse adhered my shaker to my card base with more foam tape.

So there is my hard working Easter Bunny card…

And I have to share the wonderful cards the design team made too….

Here is Tricia’s beautiful card.  She used the Flourishes Year of Flowers 1 set and the Large Paisley background.  Just lovely – don’t you think the tilted oval is pure genius?!


 And here is Amber’s springy creation.  Amber used the Penny Black Allegro clear set with Basic Grey Sugar Rush papers.  That double bow is just perfect!


And here is Tangii’s cute springy card.  That little girl always makes me smile.  Tangii used the Too Late for Cake cling set and the Basic Gray Sugar Rush paper pad
