Don’t be blue color challenge…

Well, you can be “blue”, just don’t be sad.

For this month’s Fourth Friday (shhh… don’t mention its the fifth Friday) challenge…. how about a color challenge?

Our challenge to you is to create a project that includes includes these three happy colors. You can add other colors if you wish – but include at lease a smidgen of each of these 3.

You have till midnight (EST) of Friday May 7 to  link your project.  You can use the link button at the bottom of this post.  We will draw one random winner for the prize.

ETA:  If you have any trouble with the linking – just leave a comment and we’ll make sure you get into the proze drawing.

The rules are:

It must be a newly created project for this challenge – but feel free to combine this challenge with any other ones out there.

We’d love to see all the art you care to share, but each person will only be entered in the drawing once.

The winner will be drawn randomly and announced the following Saturday.

In honor of Mother’s Day, the prize is this lovely Rachelle Anne Miller Bundle of Joy stamp.

For my project, I created a slider card.  Here it is closed:

Here it is open:

I used the tutorial in this blog post to make the card (it is the same technique, just different images).  Here are the card pieces:

I used the Summer Camp Cling stamp set and the Lake Shoreline cling stamp to create the card (all images by Eat Cake Graphics).   I colored the images with copic markers.   The sentiment is from the IO Anytime Sentiments set.

Here is some more inspiration from the Paper Gardeners (with more details on their blogs).  We all used Prism cardstock (Intense Kiwi, Suede Brown Medium and Baby blue dark) for our challenge colors.

Here is Andrea’s beautiful card.  She used the sentiment from the Bouquet of Joy clear set.  Look at those beautiful flowers she made.

Here is Erin’s cute little cowgirl.  Erin used the sweet Wild West Anya stamp from the Greeting Farm and did some mighty fine coloring.

Here is Linda’s adorable card.  Linda used the Princess for a day cling stamp set and Basic Grey Koshi papers.  Isn’t it lovely?

Here is Tangii’s super cool card.  I just love the way she combined cute little Ian with the Summer Note Block.  Perfect together!

We also have Tricia – with her adorable little mice from the Penny Black Its Your Day clear set.  So cute!

We’d love to see your take on the color challenge, so come play in the garden with us!

I’m trying some linking software to hopefully make these challenges easier – keep your fingers crossed!  You can link below just by clicking a button (I hope!).
