Saying “Hi” to some new friends…

celebratepigwebFarmyard Friends that is…

The new Paper Garden Projects Farm Yard Friends kit is in the store.

I’m having so much fun with this kit (like a pig in mud – or some kind of farm related saying like that……….).

The kit combines the very cute and versatile Farm Animal stamps from Pink Cat Studio with the beautiful Urban Prairie papers from Basic Grey.  Plus it has a whole bunch of nifty extras including color pictures of projects and detailed project instructions.

I fell in love with the Basic Grey Urban Prairie line the first time I saw it.  I love the folk-arty look and the way the colors pop with the black accents.   And who can’t love a stamp set with 2 sheep, cupcakes and a sentiment that says “Thank Ewe”?

We have lots of ideas to share on how to use this kit.  So keep your eyes on  Mel at MelStampz and Tracy at Durcan Designs as well as here to see even more projects and instructions.

Here is a picture of the kit contents:

About the card………

I used the Pig image, cardstock and papers from the Farmyard Friends kit.  The image and its matte were cut out using Nestibility tag dies.  I pierced the black matte for the patterned paper and added faux stitches with the inkessential pen (I’m not so good with a real sewing machine!).   The sentiment was cut out with the Spellbinders double ended tag dies.
