Great New Eat Cake Graphics Stamps!

momday1Eat Cake Graphics has released several new images – and they are all very fun (and funny!).

Summer vacation is officially here.  Today is the last (half) day of school for my kids.  As much as I enjoy a more relaxed schedule (no more panicked rushing to make the bus), I have to admit there are times I wonder when school will start again.  About half way through – sometimes I start to feel a little like this Mom here.

But then I remind myself that they won’t be little for long, so I try to put aside the to-do list and think of something fun to do.  (by the way, fingerpainting with your feet is a very slippery business – best to make sure they have something to hold on to…..)

So about this card….

I used the new A Mom’s Day cling stamp set and colored it with Copic markers.  The background paper is from the Basic Grey Marrakech paper pad.  The zigzag strip was made by punching both sides of a paper strip with the ZigZag border punch.  I really like this punch and the fun little stitches it embosses.  The little scalloped corner was made with the Scalloped Corner punch using the lefover strip of background paper.

You can see all the awesome Eat Cake Graphics stamp sets  here.

Well, I’m off to think of something fun to do with the kids this afternoon.  I think we will be making tissue paper flowers to decorate for Vacation Bible School next week…..
