I love these new stamps….. they crack me up (maybe because I am….um…. 40 something).
For this first one, I used the Forty-Something cling set and colored Gertie with Copic Markers (I LOVE her little bare feet!).
The paper here is All Kinds of Happy. Most of it came from the Putting on the Glitz paper kit (but I added a little piece of B-day printed paper from my stash).
For this second card, I used one of my favorite Eat Cake images. I just love Miss Prissy Montgomery. She seems like a genuinely happy person.
Miss Prissy is from the Sassy Seniors cling set and the saying is from the Forty-Something cling set.
I used the “out of the box” technique to frame Miss Prissy (you just let the image extend outside the frame). She is colored with Copics also.
The paper here is the Putting on the Glitz paper kit too. The little lacy border was made with the Apron Lace border punch.
Well, time for breakfast and then off to swim lessons. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Oh I love these!! So fun!
Love love LOOOOVE these!!
Love your impecable coloring AND your choice in DP. Darling cards, my friend.
You’ve done an outstanding job with the cards. I just loved what you’ve done with Gertie. I was originally going to draw her with shoes but I’m glad I decided not to – there’s just something fun about fancy hats and bare feet.
I think Miss Prissy Montgomery would like to be shoe-free as well but I guess when you’re Prissy you can’t be.
Toodles.
Funny cards! Isn’t 40 something the new 20 something?!?!?
I nominated you for a blog award. You can check it out here:

Fantastic! Those sentiments are too perfect and hilarious. Your colour is stunning–as usual! :O)
Great cards with funny sentiments. Great coloring!

I love your drawings of the ball and apple, just wonderful. I used to draw a bit waaaaay back and I so enjoyed the time it took to make real life drawings in pencil. As you fuzz with it, it feels as if your eyes begin to ’see’ for the very first time
