Actually, I’ll miss the more relaxed summer schedule a little.  But I have to say I am looking forward to a little peace and quiet during the day.  All three girls had a great first day of school – so we are off to a good start.

About the card…..

I used the Fluffles Leaf Leaping and Happy Fall sentiment cling stamps from Stampendous .  The paper is Prism cardstock from the Fall Frolic Cardstock Collection.

The brown piece uses the Argyle Cuttlebug folder which I inked with Magnolia Versamagic ink before embossing.  Somehow, argyle looks “fall-ish” to me.

The image is colored with Copic markers and I inked the image background with Peeled Paint Distress ink.  I decided to pop Fluffles up on foam tape to make him look a little more “jumpy”.

We have a very busy schedule this week (and its half over – yikes!).  But I can’t wait to get back to blog hopping and entering challenges again.  While we did have a lot of fun, I’ve been really missing my crafty time this summer.  With the kids back in school, I’m hoping to spend a little more time with my stamps and paper stash!
