A Halloween Sketch card

witchnbones1009I decided to try this week’s sketch challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.  I guess my creativity was taking the day off because I sure struggled with it.

I wanted to use my Eat Cake Graphics Halloween images (i love ‘em!).  I chose the dancing witch from the Best Witches set and the dancing skeleton from the Happy Halloweenie set.   Since the sketch has small image boxes, I thought maybe they could be peeking out of windows??  I chose “squares ” of the images and colored them with Copics.

I added the button and ribbon to try to balance the images a little.  The ribbon is from the “I want it white” ribbon collection. Its actually black swiss with white dots  – I just colored the dots green with my copic marker.  I added a little marker to the button too.

Well, not too sure about this one – but tomorrow is another day! (I  just love Mr. Bones though – he makes me smile).

The kids are putting up the Halloween decorations tonight.  We have a bunch of those vinyl window clings so I never wash windows till after Halloween (That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.  Now if I could only come up with a good excuse for not washing the kitchen floor!)
