I had to go with the green…

All the Halloween cards this season and here is my first green faced witch!  Hey, they say we are supposed to “go green”.

I used the  Happy Halloweenie Cling set (with images from Eat Cake Graphics) for the card.  I colored the image with Copics and inked the edges with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and a duster brush.  witchbroom1009The green panel is embossed with the Spider Web Cuttlebug embossing folder.

I added some May Arts black swiss dot ribbon and some buttons to embellish.

All I can say is – “Yep, it sure is green…”.

Just a quick reminder that the Paper Garden Projects  Tool Sale ends on the 18th.

Just in case you need any Cuttlebug folders, Spellbinders dies, or other tools to start you crafting season with style.

  1. What a fun card, Cathy! I love the sentiment too, and of course you’re coloring is the best!

Got a question for ya, if you don’t mind. What color Copics did you use on her dress? I was doing a H’ween card this weekend, and broke in my new BV0000, but not having a lot of other purples, had trouble blending. What you recommend for a light, medium and dark to go with BV0000? (Yes, I feel another order coming on. LOL!)

  2. Fell in love with this little green witch, because of the coloring and all the texture from embossing. Also, in love with Eat Cake Graphic images…..thanks for showing us such a beautiful green witch!
