A Little Tweet

fallbhouseI mean the kind with feathers – not the twitter kind.  Although, I might tweet my Little Tweet….  the wonders of technology…

I made this card using the Leafy Birdhouse cling stamp by Serendipity Stamps.

I colored it with copics and I stamped twice so I could cut out the little bird and pop it up on foam tape.

The image is cut out with the Spellbinders Label 4 die.  The matte behind it is the same size die, I just cut it in half so I could spread it out to matte the ends (you need to trim the center a little so the cut does not show).  I learned this nifty trick from gbedwright over on Splitcoast and I really like it!  (you can see her wonderful blog here).

The background is the Spellbinders butterfly Impressibility stencil .   I inked the paper with Vintage photo distress ink and a duster brush before I removed the stencil.

The paper is from the Fall Frolic Prism Cardstock collection.

I used this week’s Card Positioning System sketch for the card layout.

I hope all the little birdies out there find a home – winter is coming.

Other news you can (hopefully) use:
