Uh Oh….. I woke up this morning to some serious frost (like scrape-it-off-your-windshield frost). Stop! I’m not ready yet for fall to be over. I still have bulbs and shrubs to plant!
I guess you can’t stop Mother Nature. So, you just go make a frosty card….
For this card I used the Winter Wonderland cling stamp set (images by Eat Cake Graphics). Its colored with Copics and the Paper is from the Frosty Fun Cardstock Collection.
I used the Snow Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background. I think Snow Dots is one of my favorite folders. I love the design and I like that you can line it up to emboss a larger piece of paper. To show off the background more, I very lightly inked the embossing with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a duster brush.
The sentiment is from the Sentiment Collection I and stamped on an oval, then mounted on a Labels 1 Nestibility die turned at an angle. I used a trick I learned from Tracy, and applied glitter around the oval with a quickie glue pen.
One last trick – the ribbon was red, brown, tan and white – I just colored the white part with my BG-23 Copic to make it match (shhh, don’t tell anyone….)
The card sketch is from Our Creative Corner – although I moved one wee element over. I hope they don’t mind!
