All the papers and embellies came from the  new Hearts Bloom Paper Kit.  I’m really enjoying those Pink Paislee papers too.

Hearts Bloom

Wow – this month is moving fast.  Valentine’s Day is right around the corner!

I really like Valentine’s Day.  We keep it pretty simple around here – but my girls get a little surprise during dinner.  Last year I decorated Target mini mailboxes.  I’m not sure what I’ll do this year.  I guess I better get thinking!
But [...]

Hello Hugs!

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  2010 – can you believe it?
I know I have not posted in a while – things have been so busy – with you too I’ll bet.
One thing I want to mention up front – I had a total hard drive failure [...]

Snowball Fight Survival Kit

Or maybe more of a “Snowball Fight Recovery Kit”…
I’m still playing with clear card boxes.  This time a used a half inch thick box to make a little hot chocolate treat pack.

The box fits 2 packages of hot chocolate, a little baggie of mini marshmallows and two little candy canes.
I decorated my little box with [...]

Clear Treat Box

I use the clear card boxes all the time to hold… well… cards….
But I love the sturdiness of the plastic.  Its heavier than typical acetate sheets so I wanted to try using one to create a treat box.   This was pretty quick and easy, and ended up pretty sturdy once the base was glued on.

So [...]

Official Snow Tasters…

I’m so enjoying the new Eat Cake Graphics stamps.   I decided to use them to decorate a bakery bag full of yummy dried cherry- white chocolate chip – oatmeal cookies (recipe below).  I LOVE oatmeal cookies!

I decorated the bakery bag with cardstock and patterned paper strips from the Frosted Winter paper kit.  I punched the [...]

We’re frosting the cupcakes….

Stay tuned tonight night for our first big party challenge and prize announcement.  I think you’ll really like this goodie bag.  (If you want a sneak peak of the prize – you might be able to find one over at the Paper Garden Projects Group at Paper Craft Planet).
Meanwhile, I thought I’d share a Birthday card [...]

Farmyard Friends treat box for ewe…

Auugghh… not more sheep puns!
Maybe I can make up for it with a template and tutorial?
This is a project tutorial for a self-locking treat box.   The top flap has a notch that fits into a slit and holds the box closed.

This project was made using the new Farmyard Friends stamp kit.
The supplies I used:
Supplies from [...]

Ewe are too cute…

Is there anything cuter than baby clothes?  (I especially love the little shoes!).
I decided to try my hand at embellishing a little infant T-shirt.  I chose to use the Pink Cat Studio stamp from the Farmyard Friends kit.
I stamped the image in Palette ink and heat set it with an iron.  (I placed a piece [...]

Saying “Hi” to some new friends…

Farmyard Friends that is…
The new Paper Garden Projects Farm Yard Friends kit is in the store.
I’m having so much fun with this kit (like a pig in mud – or some kind of farm related saying like that……….).
The kit combines the very cute and versatile Farm Animal stamps from Pink Cat Studio with the beautiful Urban [...]
