Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone has a very merry, fun, and relaxing Christmas!

We are taking a little time off from the store to enjoy time with our family.  So any orders placed between now and Sunday, January 2 will ship on January 3.  We will still be around to answer questions and the digital downloads are always available.

Well, I only had 2 entries in the free digi Alyssa’s Stocking contest – so I decided to award both of them a prize for being such good sports – and for creating such beautiful cards.

You can see Viv’s beaututiful creation here.

And Cindy’s lovely work here.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I just gotta share….

…these awesome project by the design team.  Sometimes these ladies just knock my socks off (and its getting a little chilly for that kind of thing….)

Check out these amazing cards that Alyssa made using the Christmas Foliage Digi set.  Just stunning!  You can get the details on her blog here.

And then there is this super cute shaker card created by Linda.  She used the Official Snow Tasters cling set – don’t you just love their little poka dot coats?  You can get the details on Linda’s blog here.

We’re saying a fond farewell to Linda as a DT member this month.  We will miss her terribly, but can still pop over to visit!

Last but not least – the tag challenge winner is Katie.  I sent you an e-mail Katie!

Ohhh… its chilly here.  Hope everyone is keeping warm out there!

A tasty treat bucket…

Another tag, and more Eat Cake Graphics stamps!

I made this from a little bucket I got at the Target dollar spot (I think 2 for a dollar?).  I filled it with candy cane Hershey kisses (they are yummy!) in a treat bag

I decorated the bucket top and bottom with a thin strip of  Hippy Girl paper from the Kaisercraft pad (I really like the colors in the paper – some of it is glittery too!).  The bucket is tapered, so I had to keep the strips thin to get them to adhere well.  Then I added rhinestones to the snowflakes on the bucket.

The tag is made with the Letter to Santa cling set (isn’t Sophie just the cutest?).  I colored her with Copics and cut her out with a Spellbinders oval die.  Then I mounted the image on a Labels 10 die  cut to make the tag.  I couldn’t resist adding a little glitter too!

And since I had all the stuff out (on the DISASTER that is my stamping desk ), I decided to make a coordinating card too….

The cute snowman is also from the Letter to Santa set.  I also used the Winter Trees cling stamp in the background.  I cut the snowman out and popped him up on foam tape to give more dimension.

Just a couple reminders – our “Tag you’re it” challenge is still open until the 6th so share your tag projects with us for a chance to win.  More info and the linky in this post.

Also, we’re having a pens and paper sale in the store.  Save 25% on Copic sketch markers and patterned paper pads – including the Hippy Girl I used here.

I’m off to finish decorating the house!

Oh – almost forgot.  Our Creative Corner    has the exact same challenge (same name and everything!).  Weird huh?  Well, since I made 2 tag projects, I think I’ll enter this one in their challenge *wink*…..

And…. I just discovered a new challenge site (new to me anyway) called Paper Variety.  I missed the last challenge (darn it!), but I think the current challenge is very clever.  You play Tic-Tac-Toe!  Cute – go check it out.  So… I’m claiming card, holiday theme, and die cut machine for my challenge.
