There is still time….
to play our WCMD challenge to win our fall prize package. You have till tomorrow (10/5) morning to enter. All you need to do is make a fall inspired project and link a picture of it in a comment on this challenge post. For my card, I decided to focus on the fall leaves. I love admiring all the colors when driving and walking around. About this card: I stamped the Elegant Tree cling stamp in Rich Cocoa Memento ink and colored it with Copic markers. The paper is from the Fall Frolic Prism...

OK… I seriously love this Witchy Kitty Stamp by Impression Obsession. I can’t wait to start coloring – and I’m so putting glitter pen on those stars. But I have to clean house first… sigh…. I added a ton of new stamps into the store last night – so exciting! Check out the new Cover-a-card backgrounds by Impression obsession. I have a ton of ideas for using these and hope to share them soon. Unfortunately, I loaded the new stamps online in the...

So much new rubber lately – I love it! This adorable garden shed stamp called Get-a-way caught my attention right away. I would love to visit! You can see all the new things in the store here. The paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Early Bird collection and the paper is Prism cardstock (my favorite!). I antiqued all the paper edges with Brushed Corduroy distress ink and a duster brush. I colored the image with Copics (of course). Here are the colors I used. I used several...

Here is the Father’s Day card I made for DH. Making cards for guys is challenging for me – I sometimes have a hard time choosing an image. For this Father’s Day, I chose this lighthouse from the Impression Obsession Lighthouse Cling Set. Life here has been so hectic – I thought this might look peaceful. I stamped the image in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored it with Copics. Here are the colors I used. (oops… E-31 is upside down!) I wanted to...
Read MoreAre you a history buff?
I love history. Not so much the “who defeated who in the battle of what” kind of history – I’m more interested in how people actually lived day-to-day. When you start to learn some of that stuff, it boggles the mind. You can’t help but have enormous respect for people living then (especially – in my humble opinion – the women). And to think I gripe about doing laundry!! So I was excited to find these Colonial Williamsburg historical stamps from...

I had some time to play with my Impressibility dies this weekend and thought I’d share some of the things I learned. The dies are cleanly cut metal and are in a square frame. I decided to clip my dies out of their square frames to make them a little more flexible (I did not want to have the square frame around the edge when I embossed a whole card front). I just used cheap every day scissors (not my good Cutterbee’s!) to clip the design from the frame by cutting throught the...
