Garden Walk Winners plus Snowy Miss Anya

Thank you everyone who joined us in our Holiday Garden Walk.
We hope you had as much fun touring as we had preparing for the tour.  We are already busy planning our next Garden Walk for December.
I used Random.org to generate 3 random winners from all of our entries.  The winners are:
First place for the stamp [...]

New Cuties From The Greeting Farm

Oh my – I just love these little girlies!  They are unbearably cute!
This is a new set from the Greeting Farm called Signature.  It comes with all three girls and some sentiment stamps geared towards making homemade things.  Plus it has a copyright stamp if you want to identify items to sell.
I just couldn’t resist [...]

They’re Here – They’re Here!

Hi everyone!
I had to clear the cobwebs off my poor blog (maybe I should have kept those for Halloween).
Between vacation, getting the young’ens ready for school and ordering all the yummy new fall and winter stuff for the store, things have been mighty busy around here!
But… The new goodies have started arriving (how exciting!)
Including….  the [...]

Teacher Anya Graduation Card

I made this little pocket card for my niece’s high school graduation so I could give her a check with a little style.  I used the Greeting Farm Teacher Anya stamp.
I colored Anya with Copic Markers and added a little texture to her sweater vest by lightly dotting the colorless blender over it.
She is cut out [...]

New Greeting Farm stamps featuring Miss Anya

Nothing quite like new rubber stamps!
As soon as I got the Rain, Snow, Shine Miss Anya set, I had to try it out.  Greeting Farm stamps are so fun to color.  They have enough detail to be interesting but still have space to color and blend.
My initial plan for this card was to paper piece [...]

Playing with Impressibilities

I had some time to play with my Impressibility dies this weekend and thought I’d share some of the things I learned.
The dies are cleanly cut metal and are in a square frame.
I decided to clip my dies out of their square frames to make them a little more flexible (I did not want to [...]

Vintage look with Impressibilities

I thought I’d share the Mother’s Day card I made (since Mom’s Day is over).
I got to use my new Impressibility Dies!  And I was experimenting with making a vintage fabric kind of look.
The rose image is from the Greeting Farm Fancy Fluers set.  I stamped it with Memento Rich Tuxedo ink and colored it [...]

A window sympathy card

Unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card for a friend who’s father passed away.  He was elderly and very ill so it was not unexpected but still sad.
I wanted something simple but pretty.  I decided to use the Greeting Farm Fancy Fleur’s Cling Set, and wanted to make the flowers look like cheery and resilient Bachelor [...]

Rock the Farm

Ahhh… blooming daffodils and perennials coming up – it must be spring.
Here is a little pocket card (perfect for a gift of seeds).
The image is from the Rock the Farm cling set from the Greeting Farm. (The sentiment is from the Penny Black Salutations set).

The Anya farmer girl image is colored with Copics. (Anya is [...]

Coloring Anya…

Yes, its Teacher Anya again
I received a few questions about how I colored Anya’s blonde hair – so I thought I’d show you a step by step of how I colored Anya.
Its probably not the best way and I know its not the fastest way – but here goes…
I almost always color by laying [...]
