Blog Challenge Winner

Ugghhh… such a bad blogger.

We decided to sneak in one more weekend of summer family fun so today I’m trying to play catch-up.  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  Today is my kiddos first day back to school.  Kinda weird how quiet it is here!  Little Teacher Anya here is rooting for them!

First, the winner of the blog challenge is Christina F. I sent you an e-mail Christina!

I also wanted to mention that the Copics are all restocked now (and still on sale). I know they were getting a little thin there.

And stay tuned for some more new goodies on the way!

Garden Walk Winners plus Snowy Miss Anya

Thank you everyone who joined us in our Holiday Garden Walk.

We hope you had as much fun touring as we had preparing for the tour.  We are already busy planning our next Garden Walk for December.

rainsnowshine2I used Random.org to generate 3 random winners from all of our entries.  The winners are:

First place for the stamp package:  #23 Vanessa B

Second place for the $7 coupon:  #44 Carrie J

Third place for the $5 coupon:  #21 Linda H.

Ladies – I have already e-mailed you with the prize information.

I thought I’d share a card I made for the current Cardvarrks challenge.  It was to go color something.   Um…OK… I can do that!

I chose to color the Wintry Miss Anya from the Rain Snow Shine set from the Greeting Farm.

rainsnowshine2markersI used Copic Markers to color.  I find Greeting Farm stamps very fun to color with Copics.  They have detail, but not so much that there is no room left to shade and play with the colors. Here are the colors I used (in case anyone is wondering).

I paired my image with papers from the Websters Pages Holiday Collection Combo 6×6 pad, And Prism cardstock.   Usually when I know I’m going to use patterned papers, I will pull my markers colors from the colors in the paper.  The punched border at the bottom is made with the Apron Lace border punch.

Those 3 little pearls are the new Champagne Dew Droplets.  Cute!

I hope everyone in the US has a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Be sure to come back on Friday to check out our December Fourth Friday Fun Challenge.  It will be fun (hence the name)!

Well, gotta go make Jello for tomorrow.  Never mind turkey – my kids do not believe it is Thanksgiving without Jello…..

New Cuties From The Greeting Farm

signaturetrioOh my – I just love these little girlies!  They are unbearably cute!

This is a new set from the Greeting Farm called Signature.  It comes with all three girls and some sentiment stamps geared towards making homemade things.  Plus it has a copyright stamp if you want to identify items to sell.

I just couldn’t resist playing with these little girls.  First I made this card using this week’s card sketch challenge from Splitcoast Stampers (it gave me the ability to ink up all 3 of the girls!).  I colored my little sweeties with Copic markers.

The patterned paper is from the  Basic Gray Marrakech 6″x6″ pad.  The cardstock is Prism Nautical Blue Med, Papaya Puree Medium, and Classic Red.  My panel with the 3 girls is popped up on foam tape.

signaturejarI still wanted to play with them a bit more, so I decided to make a gift tag.

The image is colored and mounted on a scalloped rectangle cut from a Spellbinder die. Behind the rectangle is a little gift card.

I attached my card to a jar of homemade strawberry-pineapple marmalade (yum!).

I added a little circle of patterned paper to the top just to pretty it up a little.

Oh – a couple quick reminders – We are still conducting our Design Team Search

And… the Tool Sale in the Paper Garden Projects store ends on the 18th.
