Vellum Candle Cover

I love candles during the holidays. They do so much to set a more relaxed mood. This is a very quick and easy project to add a Holiday touch to plain tea light candle holders. For this project, I used heavy weight vellum cover stock. Its much stiffer and heavier than the vellum you might be familiar with. I made this simple little Halloween treat using some Oreos I found in the grocery store. I don’t know how they will taste – but the Halloweenie colors are great! I love these little Trick or Treaters from Eat Cake Graphics. I thought this set would be perfect for a hidden slider card. With hidden slider cards, when you pull the slider, and image pops out from behind another image. In this case, the Trick or Treaters get their candy! I love Rice Crispie Treats (especially the pre-made ones!). I like to pretend that they are not really junk food because it has cereal…. Right??? I found a template for a pop-up gift card holder on the PaperCrafts Connection Blog and wanted to try it.
