New “Get-a-way” stamp from Impression Obsession

getaway1So much new rubber lately – I love it!

This adorable garden shed stamp called Get-a-way caught my attention right away.  I would love to visit!

You can see all the new things in the store here.

The paper is from the   Cosmo Cricket Early Bird collection and the paper is Prism cardstock (my favorite!).  I antiqued all the paper edges with Brushed Corduroy distress ink and a duster brush.

getawaycopicI colored the image with Copics (of course).  Here are the colors I used.  I used several blue-green markers to try to give the shed a more worn, wood grain-y look.

Speaking of Copics – we are expecting the 12 new Copic shades to arrive at the end of the month.  I’m very excited about these pale colors because the light shades can do so many nifty things.  I will be offering a special deal if you buy all 12 colors together.  So hold on, they are on the way!

Also – a quick reminder that we are still offering free shipping on US orders over $35.

kreativ_blogger_award1I’m also thrilled to announce that Lisa gave me a blog award!

Wasn’t that sweet of her?  Now I need to think of 7 interesting facts about myself.    Hmmmm….. I’m not sure I’m that interesting.  I’ll have to think about it.

In other news – I’m also pretty excited that I finally got the mulch pile off my driveway (it only took me 2 months!).

Have a wonderful day everyone!

An Award!

BUTTER~1 Catherine was kind enough to give me an award!  That is so sweet and I’m thrilled.  I’m thrilled whenever anyone reads my little blog – but to get an award?  Yay!

I’m supposed to name 10 blogs the I enjoy.  Honestly, I’ve been a very bad blogger lately.  Things have been so busy that I’ve fallen way behind on my Blog Hoppin.  There are so many great blogs out there and I can learn something on all of them.  Well, here is a list of 10 – but I could list many more.

Mel

Tracy

Danni

Debbie

Godelieve

Kathi

Johanna From Odd Bird Planet

Gabriela Beautiful photography

You can Make it – I don’t “know” this blogger, but I enjoy the blog!

So hop around – if you’re so inclined!

Oh My! An award!

Danni over at Danni’s Dreams gave me this super cute blog award. Thanks so much Danni!

Now I’m supposed to nominate 7 other blogs and they can put the logo on their blog too. Hmmm… only 7, I’ll stick with ones I have not mentioned before.

Have you seen Mel over at Mel Stampz? I’ll tell you, I’d like to nominate the girl for an honorary PHD in “crafty science”. She is always coming up with new ways to use things.

Tracy over at Durcan Designs. I’ve long admired her crisp clean style. She places all the elements of her cards perfectly and does great things with color.

Debbie at 1of2Shoes – you have got to check out her Monday Morning Comics. Hee Hee. And here color pencil work is amazing.

Beth over at Sunflowers and Dragonflies - she has wonderful style and is so generous in sharing what she knows through all her tutorials.

Becca from Amazing Paper Grace - I don’t know Becca, but I stumbled across her blog and was blown away by what she can do with a Cuttlebug. Wow…

Which leads me to Susanna over at Card of the Week, which is how I discovered Amazing Paper Grace. She does this absolutely amazing job of scouring the Internet and finding all kinds of nifty projects and tutorials. I could spend hours just looking at the things she gathers. I don’t know how she does it.

Michelle over at Inspiration Blooms. She creates beautiful projects and I love the photos of her garden flowers too.

So… there are 7, but I could list so many more!

Edited to add:

Patti at Pat Creates gave me this award too! “They like me, they really like me” (from Sally Field when she won an Oscar – am I dating myself??). Thanks so much Patti! I really appreciate it.
