Fiesta Flower Gift Box

I hope you can stand one more Fiesta Flower project. This is the original idea I had in mind when I saw the stamp. I wanted to use it to make an embellishment for boxes by layering the image. Its very easy, but you have to like cutting things out! I just embossed Fiesta Flower with Zing white embossing powder on 6 different shades of Prism cardstock: Spring Willow Medium and dark; Dessert Coral light, medium and dark; and Sunflowers light. Or maybe more of a “Snowball Fight Recovery Kit”… I’m still playing with clear card boxes. This time a used a half inch thick box to make a little hot chocolate treat pack. The box fits 2 packages of hot chocolate, a little baggie of mini marshmallows and two little candy canes. I decorated my little box with an image from the Snow Much Fun Cling set. I use the clear card boxes all the time to hold… well… cards…. But I love the sturdiness of the plastic. Its heavier than typical acetate sheets so I wanted to try using one to create a treat box. This was pretty quick and easy, and ended up pretty sturdy once the base was glued on. So here is my tutorial on how to create the box. First, cut all the flaps off both sides of a 1″ thick card box.
