A Little Summer Break

We are taking a little family summer break.
We are planning a few fun trips, a few family visits - and maybe tackle a few of those projects that have been hanging around the house forever!   Possibly a trip to the beach is in order.
I will be around to answer e-mail (and maybe sneak in [...]

Can we have a cup of coffee and a chat?

Well…. it has to be virtual coffee….
So here is my cup of  Joe, using the IO Latte Cup cling stamp and Basic Grey Koshi papers.  I love this stamp.  It was the one that introduced me to Leigh Hannan’s designs over at IO – and now I’m addicted (to the stamps and to coffee I [...]

Hope Everything is Just Ducky….

I’m not sure where I picked up that saying (or even exactly what it means actually…).  But I like it – and it seemed perfect for these cute hugging ducks from Penny Black.  ( I created the sentiment on my computer)

Oh my goodness – for the first time I used the Mega Mount block  for [...]

Spring is in the air….

I fell in love with this stamp as soon as I saw it!   I just love how cheerful and springy it is.
This is a cling stamp called Thistle Carden.
I colored it with copic markers.   I also added some copic glitter pen but its hard to see in the picture.
The lacy border at the bottom was [...]

Fiesta Flower Gift Box

I hope you can stand one more Fiesta Flower project.

This is the original idea I had in mind when I saw the stamp.  I wanted to use it to make an embellishment for boxes by layering the image.  Its very easy, but you have to like cutting things out!
I just embossed Fiesta Flower with Zing white embossing [...]

Fiesta Flower 3 ways

Hi all,
Well the snow is  melting – and I’m hoping we don’t get more!  Things have been soooo busy here, but I finally found some time to stamp.
I decided to play around with the Impression Obsession Fiesta Flower cling stamp.  I just wanted to see what I could make with 1 stamp and one selection of papers.    [...]

Hearts Bloom

Wow – this month is moving fast.  Valentine’s Day is right around the corner!

I really like Valentine’s Day.  We keep it pretty simple around here – but my girls get a little surprise during dinner.  Last year I decorated Target mini mailboxes.  I’m not sure what I’ll do this year.  I guess I better get thinking!
But [...]
