A Sweet New Baby Card

stampaviebabyAnd some sale news!

I made this card using the Stampavie Bundle of Joy clear stamp .  I really do think it is a sweet image.  It reminds me of coming home with my first DD (before I knew what I was in for LOL).  My second and third DDs were twins (the first DD was 3 at the time).  So I don’t actually remember coming home with them – I was in a daze I think!

The paper is from the Basic Grey Porcelain Paper pad.  I love the soft colors of that paper and it seemed perfect for a baby girl card.

The image is colored with Copic markers.

Right now, the Paper Garden Projects store is having a sale on the stamps and markers used in this card – plus a bunch more stuff!

25% off Stampavie – save on all these cute and classy clear stamps

25% off Odd Bird Planet Cling stamp sets – wonderful, whimsical images

20% off all Copic Sketch Markers

30% off Clearance (new items!)

And… for the rest of July, we still have free shipping for all US orders over $35.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer.  I know I have not been a great blog buddy.  We have been so busy – but with mostly good stuff.  Oldest DD (mentioned above) has been at her first away camp all week.  We pick her up tomorrow so we’ll see how she did.  I hope she had a great time, but it was very strange not having her home!

About the card….

candymarkersI love these cute images from Rachel Anne Miller.  This one is called Candy Time.  It is stamped in Memento Tuxedo ink and colored with Copic Markers.  Here are the marker colors.

The background paper is from the Basic Grey Urban Prairie Paper Padand the cardstock is Prism Intense Kiwi and Classic Red.

I embossed the teal  Basic Grey paper with the Butterfly Impressibility die and inked it lightly with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and a duster brush. Of course I had to add 3 brads to “embellish” it!.

Well, I just had 7 cubic yards of mulch dumped in my driveway – I guess I’m going to be busy this weekend!

Card Details:

(I drew a curved line lightly with pencil and bent the sentiment to match the curve when I placed it on the block (love that about clear stamps!).  I then pierced the rest of the line to look like a flight path.)
