Unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card for a friend who’s father passed away.  He was elderly and very ill so it was not unexpected but still sad. Odd Bird Planet Trick or Treat

A couple little treat bags using  Odd Bird Planet images and Flair Design papers.  I got the idea for these treat holders from my friend Frances who used to make them with heart cut outs for Valentine’s Day.           The folder for the candy is very easy to make.  It is a piece of cardstock 4″ wide and 11″ long.  Score at 4 1/2″, 5 1/2″, and 10″.  Then it is just folded up like a triangle with the last 1″ flap folding over the first.   ...

Keeping Border Punches Straight

I’ll go back to posting cards and stuff… promise. I just wanted to share this little tip about border punches. Something that probably everyone else in the universe knows – but just in case….. When I first started using my Lacy Days border punch, we were not quite getting along. I kept ending up with edges that were not perfectly straight. It would kind of go “uphill”.
