A Vellum Treat Bag for Mrs. Claus

Posted by on Nov 12, 2009 in Eat Cake Graphics, Tutorials | 4 comments

I love this cute Mr. And Mrs Claus  stamp – and I thought Mr. Claus might like to give Mrs. Claus a little bag of kisses.   These mint kisses are really good (had to try one – how can I write an informative post without taste testing?).  And I love the little snowflake-y wrappers. This post contains a tutorial and a template to make the treat bag, and the details for the card. The Vellum Treat Bag: The treat bag was made with cover weight vellum.  This is much heavier and...

Vellum Candle Cover

Posted by on Nov 12, 2009 in Tutorials | 2 comments

I love candles during the holidays.  They do so much to set a more relaxed mood.  This is a very quick and easy project to add a Holiday touch to  plain tea light candle holders. The card front looks like this: When you pull the slider out of the card pocket, the sleigh travels through the snow (see – I knew that engineering degree would come in handy some day!). For this card I used the Sleigh Ride cling stamp and the Winter...

A “Mice” little treat bag

Posted by on Sep 25, 2009 in Misc. Stamp Companies, Tutorials | 6 comments

I made this simple little Halloween treat using some Oreos I found in the grocery store.  I don’t know how they will taste – but the Halloweenie colors are great! I used the House Mouse Halloween clear set for all the stamps.  I’m really enjoying this set – there are so many stamps in it! The bag is a flat bottomed treat bag - all I had to do is make a topper.       The cardstock is from the Halloween Happiness Prism cardstock collection.  The topper is made from a...
