I have a new Craft Kit in my Digichick shop. It’s called “Boo To You” and I made it specifically for my daughters to “Boo” their friends (although I think it is useful for other crafty Halloween projects too).
Have you heard of “Booing”?
Basically, you secretly leave some surprise treats for someone in the neighborhood with instructions to pass the fun on to another neighbor. If they want to play along, they can “Boo” someone else by leaving treats and instructions. Its kind of fun to watch the “boo” travel through the neighborhood. My girls are so excited to play this little “trick” on their friends.
The kit has plenty of images, tags, titles and papers to decorate your “Boo” package. There is even a complete set of “Boo” instructions all ready to include with your treats. Here is a peek at the kit:
To make things even easier, I also created a Door Hanger Treat Box cutting file. You can use it to create a cute treat holder that simply hangs on the door.
Here is a picture of my first “Boo” package. My girls are already discussing how they want to decorate theirs, who’s getting them and what will be inside (there is a lot of interest in those Peep Ghosts).
Both of these are on sale at the Digichick for 30% off through Sunday. So maybe you want to boo too!
Just wanted to let you know I have a new product in my Digichick store that I’m pretty excited about – Gift Card Holder Cutting files. Its on sale right now as a new release.
Its a collection of cutting files to make gift card holders (which I love to give). There are 3 different versions in the set: an open scallop edge, a star pattern edge, and a self latching version. The files include the base (which folds up to make the card pocket), the bands and medallions, and the pattern paper mats. Its so quick and easy to fold up the base, add a little adhesive to the outside edge of the pockets, and glue on the mats. Then just add a little stamping or embellishment and your done!
Here is one made with the Watercolor Blossoms kit:
Here is one with the Owl Fall For You kit:
And here is one with the Birthday Buddies kit.
I am just LOVING my Silhouette cutter – its so much fun making these!
Hope everyone in the US had a wonderful 4th of July celebration. We went to a cookout and saw some wonderful fireworks. Its supposed to be super hot here today so we are off to tennis and then the pool.
Between all my kids, sometimes it feels like some gets a birthday party invitation every week.
So to help us out, I created this Birthday Buddies kit.
What’s nice is the elements all have Silhouette Print and Cut files. The focal images are colored (with Copics!) for you already and a collection of sentiments sized to fit on the tags are also included. It makes it so quick and easy to create cards.
I know some people would much rather color their own images, so there is also a pack just the plain digital stamps in the store.
Usually my kids want to help make the card (which I want to encourage). With this kit. the kids can let me know what images they want and I just print and cut them along with printing a little of the digital papers of their choice. Then they assemble the card themselves. The birthday bear card above has a little pop-up birthday cake inside.
Right now, Birthday Buddies is on sale for 20% off as a new release. So hop over and grab it – ’cause we could all use more buddies!
Hi all! Thought I’d share another project I made with the Water Color Blossoms digital craft kit. This one was very simple -because the image, mat and tag are Silhouette print and cut files included in the kit.
I’m so enjoying my Silhouette cutter these days – Sometimes I’m amazed at how well it cuts all these tiny details. They come out perfect!
Oh – also just wanted to mention that I notified the 3 winners of the $10 gift certificates. Thanks everyone who played along!
Have a wonderful crafty day every one!
I wanted to share this card using the Main Squeeze cling stamp from Eat Cake Graphics. I guess I’m in a goofy mood this Valentine’s day, but this image totally makes me smile! Its colored with Copics and I inked the edges a little with Tattered Rose distress Ink.
All of the cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon and the button are from the Hearts Bloom paper kit.
The sentiment is from the Sentiments I set from Impression Obsession. It is cut out with a Spellbinders die. I inked the circle with the Tattered Rose ink and a duster brush before I removed the die to get the pink background.
Just a fun little card….
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Romantic Garden Walk.
We hope you enjoyed your little stroll. Using Random.org, the winner of the hop drawing is number 57 – Anneliese G. I sent you an E-mail Anneliese – to get your shipping info.
I also want to remind everyone of our Fourth (well – fifth) Friday challenge this Friday (1/29). Join in the challenge for a chance to win another great prize!
